I was originally wanted to make a piece that was to do with light playing with the themes of identity memory and the gaze. I looked at a lot of immersion art and the history of illusion art.

i came up with the idea of a thought tank. which was meant to be a dark space fulled of thoughts and memories. it was filled with provocative words and photos all in phosphors to react to UV to give it an immersive haunting quality. I played with the space inside a pitch black cylinder to give it this effect and so the individual could be embodied by the work in a 360 degree space.
