To kick start the year we had only three weeks to come up with a project that would then be exhibited.

I did a series of 3D portraits of my flatmate Tim with different writings scrawled across his forehead. The portraits could be viewed in 3D with 3D glasses displayed on a plinth in front of the works. Playing with the theme the medium is the message I tried to reflect society's contemporary issues to do with identity, narcissism and ideology. I focused on the way we manipulate technology to gain and create ideal perspectives of ourselves, already subconsciously given to us by our capitalist western society.
